Press release: Supreme Court of the United States Admission
On June 5th, 2025, Ellen von Geyso, Esq. was sworn into the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States. The motion for admission was granted by Chief Justice John Roberts. She was joined by her husband, Terrence Ayala, Esq., and his colleagues from Barakat + Bossa, who were also admitted to the Bar of the Court. With that, Ms. von Geyso holds bar admissions in Hamburg, Germany, the Supreme Court of Florida, and the Supreme Court of the United States. Mr. Ayala is admitted to practice by the Supreme Courts of Michigan, Florida, and the United States, and is also registered as a foreign legal consultant with the Rechtsanwaltskammer in Hamburg, Germany. The law office of Ellen von Geyso, PA continues to serve the German American community with all (US and German) immigration and citizenship law needs. Mr. Ayala continues to assist with commercial litigation matters as Senior Counsel at Barakat + Bossa.
